Over the last decade, nursing homes across the country have made tremendous progress in reducing the inappropriate use of anti-psychotic medications. However, it has been difficult for many nursing homes to manage the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
Next Steps in Dementia Care is a sustainable, train-the-trainer program facilitated by TMF that offers participants the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and strategies necessary to support the challenging mood and behavior symptoms of people with dementia.
