Behavioral Health

Mindful Matters

Across our country, behavioral health needs continue to grow at an alarming rate. Ensuring access to care, rapid identification and effective treatment of conditions like depression, anxiety, substance use as well as social and environmental needs are some of the first steps in shifting this trajectory.

TMF Health Quality Institute offers easy-to-use resources and comprehensive consultation services to support health care providers and teams in a variety of care settings as they learn to identify and treat patients with behavioral health needs. These methods align with value-based models and support growing evidence that they improve patient outcomes, reduce cost, increase patient satisfaction and are associated with less provider burnout.

Provider Resources

In 2019 alone, about 5 million Medicare beneficiaries accessed behavioral health services. To meet this growing need, in 2024 CMS will allow licensed marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, licensed professional counselors, and certain addictions counselors to be able to provide and bill for behavioral health services. This flyer will help explain these changes and what it may mean for you as a provider!
