TMF is a member of the team that was awarded the Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport (ET3) Implementation and Monitoring contract. This voluntary model was designed to allow Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries access to the most appropriate emergency care at the right time and place. The model is testing two new Medicare payments to ambulance suppliers and hospital-owned ambulance providers. TMF staff provides implementation support, data collection and monitoring for this contract.
Emergency Triage, Treat, and Transport (ET3) is a voluntary, five-year payment model that will provide greater flexibility to ambulance care teams to address emergency health care needs of Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) beneficiaries following a 911 call.
