TMF assists and guides health care providers in vaccine management and immunization practices for adult immunization programs. TMF consultants provide education on appropriate state or local vaccine program requirements, as well as assessment of vaccine storage and handling for vaccine viability.
In 2025, the Texas Department of State Health Services expanded TMF’s existing contract to include comprehensive site visits for providers participating in the Adult Safety Net (ASN) program. Our team supported ASN providers across Texas, many of whom also participate in the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program.
During each visit, TMF consultants assessed providers’ understanding of ASN program policies, evaluated documentation practices and reviewed vaccine storage units to ensure proper storage and handling. In addition to these assessment activities, TMF delivered targeted education and technical assistance to strengthen compliance, improve operational processes and promote best practices in vaccine management.
