Dr. C. Bruce Malone Named President of TMF Health Quality Institute Board of Trustees
New Officers and Board Members Elected at Annual Membership Meeting

Austin, TX – July 19, 2007 – TMF Health Quality Institute, a leading nonprofit health care consulting company, held its annual membership meeting on Saturday, July 14 and elected C. Bruce Malone, MD, as president of the board of trustees. Tim Von Dohlen; George Douglas; John Wright, Jr., DO; and Betty Flores were also elected as new members to the board.
Dr. Malone has served on the TMF board of trustees since 2003. An orthopedic surgeon, he is a partner in the Austin Bone & Joint Clinic. He is a delegate to the American Medical Association and currently is chairman of the Texas Medical Association board of trustees. Dr. Malone is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine.
Maya Bledsoe, MD, has been re-elected as vice president, Daniel Saylak, DO, will serve as the officer-at-large, and Larry Steiger was selected as secretary/treasurer.
Tim Von Dohlen of Goliad and Betty Flores of Laredo were elected as new non-physician members. George W. Douglas, Ph.D., was elected as a new Medicare beneficiary representative. John Wright, Jr., DO, was elected as a new physician representative. Additionally, Diana Fite, MD, and Robert Vallilee were re-elected to their board positions. Partick Hanford, DO, will now serve as past president.
